Privacy Policy

1. How images and files are processed, and browser storage

The image, GIF and video editing features of Benchpix run inside your device (your browser). The files you choose are not sent to or stored on the Company's servers, and anything you capture with the screen recording feature is also processed only in your browser.

For the "workbench" feature, the Service temporarily keeps the image you are working on in your browser's storage (IndexedDB). This data stays on your device and is not sent to the Company. It is deleted automatically one hour after you add it (limits: 200 files and 500 MB in total), and you can remove it immediately with the workbench clear button or by clearing site data in your browser. Expiry is checked while the site is open, so if you leave the site closed it is deleted the next time you open it.

2. Information we collect and why

We do not offer accounts, and we do not collect personal information that you type into the Service. While you use the Service, the following information may be generated and collected automatically and used for the purposes below.

The Company does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.

3. Retention

Server access logs are kept for 14 days and then deleted without delay. Inquiries are deleted without delay after they are handled. Where the law requires longer retention, we keep the data for that period.

4. Cookies and advertising

Cookies are small pieces of information that a website stores in your browser. The Company does not use cookies of its own to operate the Service.

The Service may show ads through third-party advertising services such as Google AdSense. In that case, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

• You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' personalized ads at www.aboutads.info.
• How Google uses information from sites that use its advertising services is explained on Google's policy page.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them may change which ads you see; the editing features keep working.

5. Sharing, processors and international transfers

We do not provide your personal information to third parties as a rule. To run the Service we use the following providers.

The server is kept in a NAVER Cloud data center in the Republic of Korea, and the Company does not transfer your personal information abroad. When ads are shown, the ad provider may collect information directly through cookies, as described in section 4 above.

You may ask at any time to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information. Contact the privacy officer below and we will act without delay.

7. Security measures

Images are processed in your browser and are not sent to a server, the connection to the site is encrypted with HTTPS, and access to server logs is limited to the minimum number of staff.
